“I started Free of Fear with the idea of reusing materials and trying to make something out of almost anything. I started to take my ideas seriously once I saw the impact my ideas could have not only on the fashion industry but also on the environment, ”says Byron Matysek. “Even though it was founded in South Florida where I live and attend school, Free of Fear works closely with the fashion industry in Chicago to communicate our mission, goals and objectives. products in Chicago and the surrounding community. ”
All Free of Fear recycled items are made in South Florida, where Matysek oversees all aspects of the organization. He is involved in the design and execution and the process of bringing products to market. The Chicago flagship launch at the Chicago Fashion Show at Water Tower Place is the first step in raising awareness of the Free of Fear fashion line.
Matysek goes on to explain, “We want to support our fellow Americans in industries, products, businesses and, ultimately, people, while celebrating the heroism of the American firefighters. This is why it is so important to me that Free of Fear products are made in the USA.
Byron Matysek hopes that the recycling of these fire hoses will have a resounding impact on the fashion industry, so that the fashion industry becomes more sustainable.
