Imagine, if you will, a blue little room. In this room is a computer. It sits on a built in table/desk against the wall and has room for two chairs. The chairs are grey in color and happen to have a lot of blond hair hanging off of them. The table itself is rather dusty and filled with binders as well as 2 large cups of pens, pencils, and markers. Near the computer on the table are many soda ring stains from the constant cups of soda present. The mouse to the computer sits on the bare table, and the keyboard is filled with debris. On the opposite wall are 5 or 6 two drawer filing cabinets. Some are dented and most have post-its or other notes taped to them. The tops are covered in more soda rings. Also on this wall is a large safe with chipping paint and just a touch of rust. The shelves over head on either side are dusty and filled with labeled boxes of supplies. The blue back wall contains a white dry-erase board with an out dated message and some scribbles near the bottom. There are also 2 calendars, one of which is laminated and has been way over used with dry-erase pens. The other is just a chaotic list on every date. The carpet in the room is very stained and worn. Sitting on it is a shredder, as well as two over flowing trash cans. The room has little ventilation.
Welcome to where I spend anywhere form 4 to 7 hours once a week as I make the associate schedules (using the filthy computer). It seems to always be in the same state no matter how I try to clean it. The curse of a shared office? Of course I do spend other time in there, but it’s the hours in a row that get to me. *twitch*
