one of my good friends just left the grocery business to come to work at my company. she had been there since she was 15 (now 29) so it was a big step - she didn’t know anything else. unfortunately she had to start in customer service but got promoted out of there in 3 months to accounting. you gotta get your foot in the door sometimes to move on up.
i’d hire you at my company for sure. you boys have to move to seattle first though.
You have to find out what you actually like doing...then find a way to get paid for it!
I don’t know if this helps, but I came across it today:
Jesse, I feel ya man. It’s never easy. You will, however, find the way. Updating your resume and looking around is a good way to start. So is making a list of what your skills are, just to see them in print. Might help you decide an avenue of work to pursue.
