Somehow I Don’t Think This Counts

As a day off, that is.

Today I have changed the bed, done 4 loads of laundry, vacuumed all flooring surfaces, washed the bathroom floors/sinks/commodes, cleaned out the filter on the fish tank, got the car washed, went to the dry cleaners, did the grocery shopping, and Swiffered stuff.

Good lawd! I haven’t even started making dinner because I have brownies in the oven! I feel like Donna Reed! Only more mannish and substantially hairier. Plus, I don’t think I could vacuum in heels. I’d more than likely fall down. Heh.

Holy cow, sweetie! Sit down and rest for a minute!
On the other hand, I really have to admire all the stuff you’ve gotten done. When I get a day off, I prefer to do nothing (which explains the shortage of socks and clean dishes around here). Every once in a while, though, I have just a productive “day off” and it feels good at the end of it to know how much I’ve accomplished.
By the way, I agree with the “mmmmm brownies” comment!
