I’ve only ever been called for jury duty *knock wood* once. It sounds like it could be exciting, though? I was bored to tears just during the jury-picking phase.
Working for an insurance comapny - the very insurance company the plaintiff was insured with - gave me an easy out. But I did manage to give about 5 other “I think this would bias me” reasons NOT to pick me. I was amusing myself a little bit.
