I was having a leisurely evening, after a great meal and a few glasses of wine. A little TV. Some conversation. A little more wine. Richard went to bed early after his long workday. I wasn’t sleepy, so I thought I’d play around on the computer. After a while, I was ready to go to bed. Or so I thought.
That’s right when I realized my major mistake of the night. I forgot about the laundry I put in at seven. Shit.
It could be all done, folded and put away by now, if I were paying attention. The worst part is that it’s my work clothes, so I can’t just turn on the dryer and leave it till morning. I don’t believe in that “turn it on again to get the wrinkles out” crap. It never works for me!
Seems I may be up for a while… Good thing I don’t work tomorrow.
