I Thought I Felt Something
Heh. More like heard, actually. I was just getting ready to get in the shower. I was startled by a loud noise. It was like a car ran into the house. I looked outside but everything was peaceful. Erm. Weird. I tried to go about my business, but the more I thought about it, it had to have been something. I mean houses don’t do that on their own. The cats definitely felt something. Earthquake? I got online…
Sure enough. There was a 2.6 magnitude earthquake near Riverside. Very weak and a little far, but like I said, nothing moved. It was a jolting sound really. Now I am gonna be late for work. Damn. What a way to start the day… Earthquake AND tardiness.
