I often say that I am a Madonna queen. You know, versus like a Cher queen. Silly, I know. Anyway, I have always loved Madonna. I can remember staying up until midnight to hear Material Girl played on the radio for the first time. I remember how excited I was when she did a movie, and being bummed when True Blue was like only released in Europe or something (I never said it was a clear memory). I think we all have at least one Madonna song we just love. Bringing me to my question…
Are you looking forward to the release of Madonna’s new album?

Sometimes I get into a weird mood and reach for some comforting, old music. This week I seem to be stuck on Expose’ Exposure. It really was a great album, with such classic songs like:
Come Go with Me
Let Me Be the One
Seasons Change
Point of No Return
I don’t know why I’ve been listening to these girls lately. I think I may have been in the mood for the ballads on the album. Some of those songs are just beautiful in an 80’s kind of way.
But then, I am just cheesy enough to drag out any tired cassette at random and plug it in…
Do you ever like something and can’t understand why? Here’s my latest: The Darkness. I downloaded I Believe in a Thing Called Love (iTunes link) earlier today. That song will not get out of my head. But I do love it so…
Erotica (Radio Edit) from the album GHV2 - Greatest Hits Volume 2 by Madonna. A great song. I am so into it right now! Nothing like listening to music randomly. I always hear something perfect.
I love Britney Spears. I do. Its so sad, especially now, what with the wedding and all. I bought the new album. I love her and Madonna’s duet. And today, thanks to vividblurry I saw the new video. How did I ever miss it’s premier? Stills: (also via vividblurry)

It is the best Britney video since Oops.. Wow. While gathering links, I found this. Old? Yes. Funny? Yes.
So this holiday season was so tiring, I have not been to the gym in like two months. I forgot how fun it was! I gathered up my old iPod and drove over around 1:30, and managed to stay two hours! i did my “beach workout (ironic cause I don’t like to go to the beach), which consists of chest, shoulders, abs, and biceps. It was fun cause I was listening to self-motivating songs like I Wanna Be A Supermodel by Jill Sobule, Barbie Girl from the album Aquarium by Aqua, Electric Barberella from the album Duran Duran Greatest by Duran Duran, and The Ketchup Song (Asereje) (Album Version) by LAS KETCHUP. All crazy fun oldies! Go iPod! The best part is they all played from random shuffle. I think my iPod is gay.
I was also surprised how many of those gay muscle boys still checked me out, even though I’ve put on a few… I still got it, I guess! Right before I left I heard The Wrong Fag To Fuck With from the album Dirty Gay Hits by Jonny McGovern. Too funny! Oh well, time to hit the shower. This website is teaching me so much…
Including the level of my patience, which as it turns out is more than I thought! What a day! So now I’m relaxing, listening to Kissing a Fool from the album “Kissing a Fool - Single” by Michael Bublé. Its a great song. Hmmm. (Sorry, also practicing making links)
So, speaking of needing patience, Richard and I went to dinner at Rancho las Trancas in not so sunny South City. It is my favorite place to eat. Any who, this tragically loud chubby woman, overly bleached and all, comes in and pretty much takes the place over with all her noise. Wow, was she obnoxious! She demanded to know….
