It exhausts me to even start it. Confess? Confessions? Don’t you all realize I am a self centered, self promoting,  reclusive whore?

Wait. I guess that makes no sense. Yet it makes perfect sense. Of course I’ll do it! Anywho, here goes. (How was this formatted?? Oh. *Copies Betty*)

I confess… I am a bit bummed about the ‘gayness’ of this blog. It was always my goal to not be in the gay, or any other niche. I’m not. I made my goal and am glad I have a broad appeal. My readers and links come from all types of places. I have never been a noted, new, or otherwise ‘gay blog’ and yet I am jealous. Especially around any ‘blog award’ time. (But I have the Blog Whore thing to remember, haven’t I?)

I confess… I do not like San Diego nearly as much as the Bay Area. It depresses me, and I sometimes wish I’d never moved. Even though the quality of my life has improved, I feel a bit trapped here.

I confess… I enjoy the cats waaay more than I let on. The beasts.

I confess… I do not take world events seriously. I realize that’s not a good thing. It’s something I work on everyday. I recently registered to vote again. I haven’t voted since Clinton! See, I’m working on it. I even have a favorite news program, but I pretend the pretty female anchors are lesbians… BUT I watch the news daily.

I confess… I am a horrible writer. This is probably obvious. I actually think earlier entries here were better, but nowadays you have to be careful posting about work, and that’s like 90 percent of my life so I am left with little to no subject matter. I mean, you can only write about that rude cashier at the grocery so many times…. and (see above) I am awful with world events and news.

1. RE: Blogrolls - Do you link just because you were linked? Or do you link because you actually read it?

Well, I have to say it’s a total combination. It depends on the weblog and the content. There are times where I don’t feel that click like I could read you, and I don’t link. Then there are times when I discover a link and I find that it is a) a like minded person. b) someone I was reading anyway. or c) or a site I find pretty funny/informative so I’ll link away, even if it doesn’t become a daily read for me. I know some folk use that ‘roll besides me…

2. RE: Stupid Quizzes: Do you do them? If you do - do you do them because you think they’re cute, fun and interesting? Or do you do them because you have absolutely no ideas in your head and have nothing else to blog about and you feel obligated to put something, anything up there?

As a rule I am officially done with quizzes. I did a lot when this was a young blog, but I try to refrain now. Sometimes though, that little graphic you end up with is hard to resist…

This one is tough, so I think I’ll follow Lisa’s lead and look for the newest…
