OMG!! So amazing! I was watching this video and my kitten Versace was on the desk. She got all attentive to the screen, stood up, and arched her back with a little hop just like when she plays with Coco. She *saw* the kitten! She totally watched TV (essentially) and reacted to it! OMG! My baby is sooo smart!
No wonder I went out and got her 3 new toys, a training book, and dental care items today… LOL! BTW, she hates water and getting her teeth rubbed. Wait till I try tooth brushing! (Cat care is so much more involved than I thought…)
OMG. Lunch was so bad I had to Yelp it. Ugh. Bland food = bad reviews yo.
Other than that these 2 days off were just peachy. Really! The nice part about trying not to spend money is that Richard and I have spent a lot of time at home. Together. I like it, actually! I forget how nice it is just to hang out with nowhere to be and nothing to do. Together, though. I have had a blast! Plus we have the new kitten to play with/fight over all day. Heh. The only downside is that leaves little blog fodder.
UPDATE: I can’t believe I forgot this part! I had to take my car in to the shop! You see, last week or maybe it was 2 weeks ago I had ran over something on the freeway. I was on my way home, it was late at night, and it looked like just some cardboard. I knew as I went over it that that was not the case. It was wood. And I basically hit it as I went over it. There was a load crash, but my car seemed to be okay, so I continued home. Over the next few days something seemed off with the alignment. The steering felt funny, but not *that* bad. I drove as normal the next week or so. Until yesterday.
Yesterday I had parked with my wheel turned and that action somehow motivated me to look at my tire. I saw that it had a gouge, as well as being split in three places. It also looked much more worn down than the one on the other side. Uh oh. So I brought it in today. I was so afraid I had bent something, because the alignment only seemed *funny*, not that bad… Anyhoo, 523 bucks later and all is well. So much for catching up on bills this year. *sigh*
Oh! Do go kiss Brian for me though. He needs some love! (Hang in there my friend! We are here if you need us!)
I have to tell you, I am TOTALLY becoming “that cat guy”. I can’t even help myself. First, I am taking Claritin daily because I am allergic to cats. Why do I suddenly need medication after 12 years of living with cats? What’s changed? Well, I snuggle with a cat now. Every chance I get. I used to avoid touching them. Also, see my new favorite blog: Moderncat Somebody stop me.
I actually have almost justified buying this little item in my mind. Really. Automated AND stylish. What more could I want??
(See what I mean? I am TOTALLY becoming that guy!)
I should already be in the shower. But as you can see, I am not. Heh. I have to relax a bit this morning. This weekend has been brutal. So I am going to just sit and enjoy one more cup of coffee. *sips* Mmm, perfect.
So I have to admit. I am becoming Crazy Cat Guy. It’s been a sudden transition. I am so consumed by my new little baby! She sleeps in bed with me, she has a super clean box at all times, and I am always talking about her. There are now pictures every day! It makes me laugh, and worry at the same time. No one likes Crazy Cat Guy, do they? But to be fair, this is my first pet that has been *mine*. Sure we had the “family dog”. Richard and I even had a hamster for a bit. Of course there have always been Coco and Chanel, Richard’s cats with us. Not the same. This is *my* baby. I picked her, well I think she picked me, but either way I think you get the idea. She’s my special girl!
