What a gorgeous weekend it was too! I was totally bummed to be at work. Srsly. It sucked. But I did actually have a good working weekend, so that was a good thing. Next weekend will be a blast. I believe it is another long one too! Woo! I seriously love the long weekends this time of year. Love, love, love! I am going to a baseball game too, on Friday I believe. I can’t even wait…

In other news: Dudes. Really. Dudes. I was totally underwhelmed by the response to the TwitterFone invites. I mean, sure I was totally whoring for comments. I admit. But I only had two invites. I didn’t just want to give them away. I get it tho. It was the weekend. Everyone was out playing! I would have been too, had I been off. I’ll have to remember to do something during the week when I give away Dropbox invites, right? Anyhoo, the TwitterFone invites go to soabbox.SUPERSTAR and Pandora, my devoted and gorgeous readers! I slept until one in the afternoon today. I felt kinda bad about it. Well, at least till I remembered that I was at work until one in the morning, and thus up until 3:30. Still a lot more sleep time than I actually need, but December does tend to catch up with ya. Heh. I can’t believe we are two days away from the halfway mark. Time goes crazy fast! Amazing.

I am pretty caught up this year too. work is going 10 times smoother than last year. I feel like we are on top of it.  Sure I am doing 6 days, but the hours are not too crazy. In fact, this is my only ‘closing’ weekend. I am almost through it! I feel a bit more balanced and caught up at home too. My holiday cards are sent. We are going to have a post-holiday party, and the planning is done for that. The invites are out. As soon as we get some RSVP’s we can move on food and stuff. The house is clean. We really just need to maintain and we will be guest-ready. Heck, I even got my 20,000 mile tune-up done! So the car drama the other day was not so bad… Right? All I have left to squeeze into the month is a DMV visit (appointment Tuesday) and a haircut. No problem!

So yeah. Today I am calm. Maybe by next week I’ll be a frazzled mess like usual. But so far so good as of today.

Joost is a new way of watching TV on the internet. With Joost, you get all the things you love about TV, including a high-quality full-screen picture, hundreds of full-length shows and easy channel-flipping.

I have had this Joost thing for a while. I have never used it. When I first ran it it seemed buggy. I also don’t remember many shows. A boy needs viewing options, right? Anyhoo, I was on the Twitter last night, or the other night, and Shel was complaining about the cable service and Frankie reminded him about the Joost. Shel in turn reminded me. Hrm.

I tried to run it today and it wouldn’t even launch. A quick trip to the Joost.com and I found out I was a few versions behind. Well, more than a few. Haha! So I updated and I couldn’t be more excited! This thing rocks! There are a lot of channels now. I got everything from a horror channel to VH1 to Logo up in here! Logo! Sure it’s not all of the programing you’d get on the actual channels but still…

Anyway. It is invite only still. I think I have invites. I have no idea how many. There is no where that I can tell to see how many I have. I did successfully send one to Richard, and there are rumors that they are unlimited with the later versions like this one. Let’s test it out. If you want an invite let me know in the comments.
