Go Sabra! Didn’t I say it would be her? Let’s just say I did, okay? The whole time. Shhh!
The supremely talented yet relatively inexperienced 19-year-old was crowned the winner of the third season of So You Think You Can Dance Thursday night, becoming the hit Fox show’s first female champ and surprising critics who felt that Lacey’s flair or Danny’s God-given talent (or, heck, even Neil’s pretty hair) would prevail in the end.
Although it looked as if she might have rolled her ankle during her solo Wednesday, Johnson, who will pocket $250,000 in prize money, was standing tall tonight.
Full Story
It was nice to see some of my favorites along the way back again. I have spent the last 2 hours catching up with the show since I was, of course, at work. I even got to see Jaimie!
There were a lot of other “remember me” moments where the judges called back dancers to see a dance again. I like that, in theory. I just kinda wish they did maybe the style again and a new dance. Maybe I am missing the point of it? It is just for filler, right?
[WHAT THE HELL IS CAT WEARING??? OMFG! She looks like a dish scrubbie. My last gay nerve is plucked. Somebody needs to beat her down, show her.. Before she dresses for NATIONAL TV again!!]
Anyhoo, it was an amazing season. Danny should have won out of that final four. Oh, and Jaime was robbed. What the hell with all those conservative styles she got all season? Other than those 2 gripes I am good. Congrats Sabra!

OMG. Sarah is gone. As is Dominic. I figured Dominic. I mean, he picked his ass on National Television.. Plus, I was kinda hoping he’d have gone instead of Kameron.
But still, wow. Sarah? Sarah our B-girl? Sarah was cuuuute! And the boots. The boots people!! But I like Lacey better. Hrm. This program has really got me! I was obsessively trying to find the results online at work, but as expected all sites were blocked. Damn the man! Finally I got the text from the dp.com favorite of the day, Fred. Thanks Fred!
By the way, American Idol question for you: where is Jordin??? Did they kill her?
Oh, and one last unrelated thing. Watch the What The Buck Show. JUST WATCH IT!!

So You Think You Can Dance was was another great time! Our hosts were lovely, and the company was exceptional, as always. I love our friends! Thanks guys!
Now on to the show. First of all, Cat almost looked normal. I still found her look a bit fembot-ish. Cat’s Evidence Of Insanity™ moment of the night was when she introduced the GeeGees. GeeGees?? Was she really doing baby talk on national television? The audience shouted ‘judges’ like normal though. Phew. Speaking of judges, Nigel and Mary were joined by Adam Shankman. I like him. Total ‘family’. Heh. And what was with Mary’s look tonight. Her boobs! She was like all boobs and teeth! Argh! Tonight we saw two dances from each couple.
First up, Danny and Sarah. I have to admit, Danny has got something about him that makes me swoon a bit. That said, I thought him and Sarah were hawt. Sex, sexy, sensual, sex! OMG Sarah being able to do half of what she did in those boots! Wow. Later they did Hip Hop to Salt-N-Pepa. I got all nostalgic and had a great time, others in my group weren’t feeling it so much.
Dominic and Lauren. Wow. Dominic was Jaimie’s partner last week and I think played a part in her going home. Anyway, meh. I wasn’t feeling the first ‘Krump’ performance at all. Adam loved it. I think he was tonight’s Paula. These two had the Rumba next. We weren’t thrilled, and I think the judges weren’t either.
Neil and Lacey were fun! The controversy around Neil being topless and what not. Heh. Adam said that soon the show’d be called “So You Think You Can Dance, Naked” LOL. True though, need a few votes? Latin Jazz. I thought it was sexy, but the judges pointed out the performance was lacking. Specifically, they did the dance as pupils and had no chemistry. These two sure shined when Mia got a hold of them with a Contemporary number. (Mia’s kewpie doll hair makes me smile) It was highly emotional, having been inspired by real life. Mary was sobbing, and unable to comment. Adam LOVED on Mia for the whole thing. Nigel thought it was beautiful. The stage was covered with flowers. I found it odd they actually put a tripping hazard out for the dancers…
Pasha and Sabra rocked. Both numbers (Broadway and Quickstep) were amazing. The judges agreed. I really like Sabra, but I still favor Lacey. Hm. My group loves Sabra, and enjoyed both performances.
I wasn’t going to mention this. I can’t NOT talk about it though. You know at the end how they all dance around onstage while the credits start? Well, there was this part where someone said “Hey wait! Dominic got a wedgie!” We actually wound it back. He does a move on the floor, gets up, and totally picks his ass! Let me say that again. He picked his ASS on National Television. LOL.
Who’s leaving? I think Dominic for the guys. I am unsure with the girls after tonight.

what's up?
First off. That routine at the start gave me the goose bumps. OMG. It was beautiful!
Secondly what is on Cat’s head? It looks like Grandma’s dusty centerpiece! I won’t mention that horrible dress. And last night’s show was offensive! We got public apologies!! All anti-war and junk. Not only the dances, but Mia’s jacket! Scandalous!
OMG, MIKA is performing!! Could he be prettier? But those pants are just horrible… Looks like he gotta load in back!
Sabra, Sarah, and Lacey are safe, JAIMIE is in the DANGER ZONE!! So is Lauren!
Okay, so… Danny is safe and Dominic (Jaimie’s partner last night) is in the danger zone. I am really wondering if this is a dance competition or choreography competition. My reasoning? I KNOW from other video sources that Jaimie is an amazing dancer. However, compared to all the SEXY routines we have seen for the other dancers, she has ‘drawn’ the sucky ones. Seriously! I mean look at it. Waltz? Compared to Hip Hop? A floor length skirt compared to a bikini? Dancing with an ‘old man’ compared to dancing with your ‘lover’?? Not fair!! America can’t tell talent, but they do know what they like. Sex. They should all do the same style and wear similar outfits each night.
Oh, Neil is safe.
Pasha is safe, Kameron the hottie is in the danger zone! Bottom 4!!
Jaimie is going HOME!! SUCK! I am telling you… Choreography people!! Kameron is going home too. The hottest one. Sigh. SYTYCD will never be the same. *tears*
Wow. I got so attached. I lurve Fox.

what's up?
I missed it. Can you believe it? I told you earlier about the schedule mixup at work leaving me with a 12 hour day. So yeah. I also missed SYTYCD. I am sooo bummed. At least there was no party tonight! It turned out my whole group was busy too. Heh.
Anyway, as soon as I got home I voted for my Twitter BFF Jaimie. Even though I missed the show, I am faithful to my girl! From what I read on Blogging So You Think You Can Dance she had a great solo tonight! I am watching the performances right now on Mickeyworld.net.. Jaimie and Dominic looked good. Finally a hot number for Jaimie, eh? Well… hotter, anyway. I still think she got weird choreography. More waltz? Sheesh! Oh, and Sarah and Neil were really hot, I see! Disco!
BTW, I love the folks at Blogging SYTYCD. They really got it together over there.
Can you believe I missed it? I suck! But I will see the results show, so… It evens out I guess.
Bah. I gotta watch the rest of these performances!

Hey yo. The Idol Bois meet again, though not for American Idol… That’s so last month. Now we are doing So You Think You Can Dance... I should come up with a new name for our little group, eh? Anyhoo, tonight was a little different, as we were joined by some new people. Hi new people! They were actually really sweet. I love the new people we are meeting these days! Our friends have the cutest friends… On a sad note we were missing one of the original, if not THE original Idol Boi tonight. We missed you Fred!!
Okay, now down to business. Remember last week when I wondered if my friends would think I was weird if I took notes? Well, they totally didn’t. In fact, I had forgotten to bring a note pad and our hosts totally brought me one. Heh. Now just to read them…
The first pair to perform was Lauren and Neil. That Neil is cuter than I thought. The style was Hip Hop. Mia thought they were ‘better than last week’. Mary ‘just loved it’. (Mary still annoys me.) Nigel felt that tonight they were ‘setting the bar’. I actually feel sorry for them being first. It is hard to remember how they did, even with notes yo.
Next we had Pasha and Jessi. The style was ‘Stiff Jazz’. What is that? The movements were nature inspired, as in like bird like. Mia said that she ‘loves birds’ and that it was ‘amazing’. Mary stated the obvious, that ‘you are both beautiful people’. Nigel seemed to just plug the show. Hrm. They are both seriously pretty though, at least we thought so…

Hok and Jaimie were up next with a Samba. Hawt! Mia said they were ‘as sexy as hell’. Mary felt that though there were ‘good bits’ it was not at a ‘high level’. Wow! And Nigel agreed with her!
Dominic and Sabra were funny. They chose Contemporary, a dance style foreign to Dominic. In rehearsals he was concerned for his safety! “If I don’t put my hand on her shoulder [now] the outcome is me hitting my weiner” LOL. Poor boy. After their performance Mia spent a few moments bonding with the b-boy Dominic, in the end stating that he was ‘what this competition is about, beautiful’. Mary thought they were ‘absolutely fabulous’. Nigel gave Sabra props, saying she was ‘tremendous’. He also pointed out that Dominic shaved his toes. Cute!
Cedric and Faina did a Fox Trot. I thought it would be fun! Not so much. Mia thought it was like ‘Ginger Rogers and an insecure Michael Jackson. Mary said ‘I did not feel you were wonderful’. Nigel recommended that Cedric ‘invest in rehearsals’. I think Mary and Nigel are just bitchy tonight.
Next up was my favorite Kameron and that chick they put him next to. Just kidding! Her name is Lacey and she’s hawt too. They were a highlight last week, so I expected a lot. They did not disappoint. The style was Broadway. *Drool* I love it. It was a song from Chicago! Mia felt that they were the ‘sexiest couple’, duh, but missed the pizzaz from Kameron. Mary thought it was ‘well done’ though a ‘bit naughty in the beginning’. Nigel added that it looked as though ‘they’ve been dancing together for years’. I say go Kameron!! The boy is fine…
next was Anya and Danny. Mia said ‘you guys are stunning together’. Mary felt ‘they stepped out of a dream’. Nigel was dead on when he said that folks who ‘don’t know will find it beautiful’. I did.
[OMG this is exhausting]
Shauna and Jimmy had this Hip Hop routine with this weird clogging in the middle. They didn’t call it that, but I thought it looked like clogging. Mia simply said ‘yay’ for Jimmy but felt that Shauna needed to ‘go all out’. Mary was ‘watching Jimmy the whole time’. Nigel used the ‘f’ word. That’s fun, btw… I wasn’t impressed. But I think that Shauna girl bugs me.
Sarah and Jesus were hot. They had a Paso Doble, which apparently is pretty traditional and heated. The music was Queen. Odd. But they looked great, and all of us noticed poor jesus’ package. Oh my! Sadly the music pretty much killed it for all the judges. I still say you need to find it on You Tube tomorrow. Hot.
All in all a great night. I am rooting for Kameron and what’s her face, and liking a few others. This is as fun as Idol! It is!!
