Dude. I have become bored of my blog. Bored, bored, bored.

Sorry about that. You know it’s funny how I used to be *so* into it. I had to post numerous times a day. I checked all my stats constantly. It was like an addicting little video game… A video game where I made valuable social connections as well! But now it’s just not the same. I could promise to try harder, but I won’t go down that road again. I have actually thought about taking the whole thing offline lately (and no, this isn’t one of those posts were I try to create drama and get traffic). I actually want to take a lot of things offline lately. Plurk, Friendfeed, Facebook… all of it. A friend of mine was cleaning up his social networks rather severely last week and I thought how CLEANSING. What a way to start the new year! But I held myself back. I have a tendency to act in a rash manner and then totally regret it.

So here we are. Bored. I guess I should at least delete the spam comments.

I should be happy to be caught up. That is awesome, considering how much there has been to do here at work. But you know what?

So anyway. I made it through the day. I was fine until our management meeting. I mean, we were warned that it would be a long one, but when they said ‘long’ I figured like an hour. Maybe an hour and a half tops. Well guess how long we sat there. Guess! Three hours!! Oh my freaking GAWD. I thought I was gonna DIE in there. Bad enough to be talked at so long, and my boss is a pretty good speaker. I wasn’t that lucky though. It was training broadcasts by non-actors. Can you say YAWN? I seriously was dozing off. In fact every time I looked up folks were looking at my smiling and mouthing something. It wasn’t till the end of the meeting that I realized the gal next to me was actually SLEEPING. It was that bad.

Other than that? Well. Not much going on. Sunday was the bowling thing for work. It was fun, and I really do like bowling… Sadly though, I do not have a sporty bone in my body and come of kind blase during a team activity. I was the team caption, and I actually think I might have brought down the team spirit. Sad. I just haven’t the slightest idea how to behave in that situation. I know I suck at bowling, and the whole yelling and gesturing thing after every throw (?) is just not me. So I clam up. Meh. I am clinging to the idea that I was fun and engaging at the table when I wasn’t up. Plus I bought beer. So that helps right?

At any rate, I totally want to go bowling more. Too bad that it is in a place riddled with naughty snacks and beer.

I am bored off my ass. I have a few things left to do, but if I rush through it all I’ll have nothing to do tomorrow. Gah! I hate being off the whole weekend by myself. So far today I slept in really late, vacuumed, windexed all the glass furniture, chatted with Shel, got dressed, got my hair cut (I look hawt!), went to the bank, went to Trader Joe’s, and went to Target. I was going to run back out, but there is an event at the stadium and traffic will be bad getting home. Oh, and as an aside… Do not wear the really cute Wonder Woman shirt out in public unless you want to talk to a lot of strangers about Wonder Woman.

So what does that leave on my list? Well, there is a trip to Ralph’s in my near future, as well as the propane tank for the barbecue grill that needs to be filled. I think I can do that at Lowe’s… I’ll probably save those trips for tomorrow, as well as my fact finding mission to the Apple store regarding my up-coming podcast (now that’s exciting!)

Later tonight I will be cleaning out the filter on the fish tank. Don’t you wish your life was as exciting as mine?

By the way, someone really needs to take me to Lips. Seriously! I drove by it today and remembered that some nice lesbian really recommended it.

I am suffering from serious blogging withdrawl. I had no site all day. Apparently my entire host was down as they had no site either. What the…?? But the good news is:

So in the time that I had no site I was a little bored. This is my day off, and I was at home for a good part of the day. For a while I was staring out the window. I know, it seems sad, but I have a really pretty view okay? Any who, there was this odd pudgy man and woman taking pictures of each other. Well, not each other really, but of a half full wine glass they were holding.

He posed with the glass outstretched on the bench. She posed with the glass outstretched in front of the fountain. It went on like that for a while. It was weird ‘cause neither one of them ever drank from the glass. What the…??

I am so glad my site is back so I can create these fantastic posts!
