Okay, one thing that sucks about these reality competition shows is the east coast spoiler. I mean, I haven’t had one spoiled yet, but still. It sucks.

I sooo hate missing these. Thanks to my tweethearts on Twitter for trying to keep me in the loop while I was working. Sadly, I never made it back to my phone to see what happened. Bah. Anyhoo, I got home and went to a new SYTYCD rescource, Blogging So You Think You Can Dance. It’s a blog after my own heart!

We’ll be down to the top 12 after tonight’s results show. Losing just about anybody is going to hurt, as it has already this season. Expected to be clearly safe tonight are Pasha & Sara, and Dominic & Sabra. All bets are off after that, though Neil & Lauren polled a surprisingly strong 16% of the vote in our poll.

As I read, I got nervous. The way they wrote their post was very live blogging-style. And you know how I love my new Twitter BFF / SYTYCD contestant Jaimie. As I read on I got some bad news. Bad news, people! She actually went to the Bottom Three. *gasp*

I know. I am still pulling myself together. Don’t worry. She’s safe. We lost Cedric and Shauna tonight. Cedric, sure I saw that coming. But Shauna?? Was she the most deserving of the axe? I don’t know…

But our JaimieG is safe!!

...was amazing. Well, maybe not amazing. It was outstandingly good as well as unique. You see, our neighbors (not the well endowed drug dealer or the asian sorority girls, but the ones behind us that are quite a normal couple) had invited us over for dinner last week. Of course after that we didn’t see them at all. When Tuesday finally rolled around I was convinced that they weren’t home. Top it off with the fact that they hadn’t been out with their dog ALL DAY. I was positive that we were stood up. I didn’t even want to go knock on the door! How embarrassing, to be standing on the stoop with a bottle of wine and get no answer… But I was wrong. Not only were they home, they were dressed all cute and stuff. We were in shorts. Mine were cutoffs. AND they had invited their other gay neighbor. He was dressed well too. I could vex about my poor outfit all night. I thought they weren’t home!! Anyway, so there we were: 3 gays and a straight couple. Believe it or not the conversation flowed easily! It turns out that only Richard and I were ‘new additions’. They had been neighbors with the other guy for a while and had socialized pretty regularly. The dinner was a Raclette style. It’s almost like a fondue, but a grill. You cook your meats, veggies, and cheese on it at the table. Too fun.

And they poured a bit of wine too. No glass was ever dry. My neighbors totally got us drunk. LOL! Actually I think everyone was a bit toasty… But no one was driving and the company was great. Good times!

It did leave me and my boo a bit of a wreck today. We were too tired and moody to do the group SYTYCD viewing. I feel bad about that. But yo. I think I had a hangover. I never get hung over. Heh. The funny part is that my message to Fred was that the neighbors had us up late. True, but not the neighbors I am sure he is thinking of…

Wow. Can I just say wow? One of the best episodes yet. It seemed like all of the dancers had really become confidant. The performances were top notch, even in the judges eyes. I am easy to please. The last performance was especially amazing. Who was it? Hmm… (I took no notes today, I am a tired boy after my neighbors got me drunk last night. anyhoo…)

What had me worried was the judges response to my BFF Jaimie and her partner Hok. They seemed to like Jaimie (phew!) but Hok had less than favorable responses. I am worried! I do not want Jaimie anywhere NEAR the bottom 3. She was amazing in that Waltz! She floated! The judges thought she had ‘great lines’. But it WAS a Waltz. Yawn! I mean, I guess you can only do so much with that..

Al I can say is: Come on America! Keep Jaimie safe!!!!

Where to begin? In todays recording I cover my vacation, P!nk, Jamie Goodwin (my SYTYCD BFF), erm… my subpoena and upcoming court date, Twitter, Aunt Barbara, Babette Schwartz, and the Pride Night at Petco Park. Seems like a lot, but it’s a short show. Heh. And to think I thought I lost my podcast mojo…

[Notes from Fred! Thanks!!]
The Drama started even before the show aired.  E! Television reported one dancer passed out, one choreography threw a hissy-fit, and one dance team were doing the ‘bow-chicka-bow-wow’.
Now on with the show.  This week’s guest judge was a surprise even to me.  Debbie Allen, that’s right from ‘Fame’, was the guest judge.  She was a lot of fun.  She kept pimping out her ‘Debbie Allen Dance Academy’; and was almost pressured to offer up a scholarship to one of the dancers.
First up, Sara & Jesus - doing a Krump.  It was great!  I love a good Krump.  Last year Travis and Martha knocked this out of the park.  Jesus and Sara did a good job of it to.  It was a little light and frothy for a Krump, but it was entertaining.
