Testify!
what's up?

Okay. I am home now. That was excruciating.

Excruciating might be harsh. It was not exactly as bad as the last time as far as the harassment thing. For some reason the friends and family couldn’t be bothered to wake up early for the trial, so they weren’t there yet. I was disappointed actually because I insisted that we not be left in the hallway to be harassed, and they gave us a police officer (detective?)! Anyway, the prosecutor for the DA this time was an adorable blonde woman that reminded me a lot of one of the best bosses I have ever had. I immediately respected her. She was a lot more calm too, and thorough. I think I remembered much more. That was the hard part. Here I am with this traumatic event that I lived through in the front of my mind and then I am immediately cross examined. Okay those cross-examinations are a fucking bitch. They are kinda mean, and condescending to you. Jerks. So I was on the stand forever. Like f.o.r.e.v.e.r.... I thought I was done, but they threw me back and forth like a tennis ball in there. Redirect, redirect! Gah! Thank gawd for the jury, well the one jury lady. She was on the end so maybe she was Juror #1? She seemed sympathetic, so I found myself looking at her a lot. Especially as the defendant’s family trickled in. Why are they allowed to come in all late like that? What the hell?

Anyway. I am almost done for now. I was released, but am subject to recall.

After all of that I had my trolley ride to get home. As we were on the way there was a young man that started harassing and threatening the passengers in the car. Then he tried to talk to me about the bible, and threatened me when I refused to talk to him. He actually got all crazy agitated… scary! He somehow saw my phone and thought I was calling the police so he switched cars at the next stop. Nice way to end my morning, eh? Now I need a nap.
