I Am So Happy With My Filthy Self
Today I learned how to upload pictures to this thing. It’s a similar process to MT, but wouldn’t work. So I read the user guide. Tried again. Read more. Tried again. Figured out it was the “server path”. WTF? My “server path” is not documented anywhere! Finally I created a large enough error that I could see the damn “server path”. Victory!
Oh, and I also needed that info to enable “Captcha”, so that now works too! I can’t wait to get up in that word list… Heheh.
Pictures. (There was a lot more decor thrown up, like 2 more trees and all..):
Here It Is
Okay. So here's the deal. Not only am I not a photographer, I am not digital photo savvy. My pictures go from the camera to the computer where they become gi-normous. They are to big to upload with
MT, and even if I could do it I do not understand pop-ups. So, these are screenshots of pictures. Yes, I am a loser...
At any rate,
Richard and I took pictures all over town. Not San Francisco (I would not want to spend a day off there, I am there everyday!), the town where I live. We also visited
Filoli Estate up the freeway a bit, which has some amazing gardens.
Here are the results in no particular order:
I Can’t Figure Out Pop-ups!
How do people do it? I mean, my pictures
always end up bigger than my damn screen! It's like a pop-up take over...
So, with out any high-tech drama at my end, here's my day. Please excuse the bad photography. We drove over to
Half Moon Bay. It's a beautiful little coastal town only twenty minutes away. That's why I can't figure out how it is I've never been there. (I realize I am in none of these pictures, but if I weren't taking them there'd be NO pictures!)

So we stomped around "Main Street" for a while. It was a lot of little shops filled with touristy items. We found a lovely little wine shop, got some great deals on some reds, and the woman there suggested a little sandwhich shop up the road. We took her suggestion and picked out some sandwiches to take to the beach.
On the hike down to the water, we saw the most glamorous outhouses...

The view as we ate was pretty nice though.

There was some randomness by where we parked. I thought the contrast of colors was nice, but my poor old camera couldn't quite catch it.

On the way home, we stopped by one of the amazing pumpkin patches along the highway. Of course it's still early, so they didn't have much as far as pumpkins. That was made up for in character.

Oddly enough, there was a winery in the area. So we
had to stop! We were the only ones there, and the pours were generous. The perfect end to a great afternoon! (Except then we had to go to the grocery store. Ugh.)
