For those of you that don’t know him, I should make a formal introduction to your guest author. His name is Shel. He comes from the far away land of Canada. I have known Shel for a number of years, even when he just used to blog with jpeg entries. (It’s not what you think, but still don’t ask.) When he’s not at work, you can find him blogging at orangelounge.ca. Just not as much as he used too. If he’s not blogging he’s off spending time with his man. They just celebrated 2 months together. Is that cute or what? Aww. I remember my 2 month annaversary! Well, kinda. I mean it was like 10 years ago. Heh. Wait, did I just try to make this post about me? See how I am? Bad.

As reported on orangelounge.ca, school officials edited out a gay kiss in a high school yearbook.

Now, the school admins are apologizing for the edited kiss, claiming that attention was brought to the photo because one of the students in the photo was supposedly not from the high school.

Uhm, right.

This is Shel from orangelounge.ca testing the emergency DP.com broadcast system. Except it’s not really an emergency broadcast system. It’s more of a… DP is on a vacation system.

So your illustrious host here is headed off into the sunset, the land of old people, pastels and parks of the amusement variety, and it’s been left to me to keep you entertained in his absence. I’ve been given a list of non-DP.com sanctioned topics, which will make things rather challenging for me, but granted, if you wanted to read what I’d normally rant about, you’d go to orangelounge.ca, right?

I am on the last work day of my seven day stretch. I am tired and sore. And tired. It’s the late shifts that kill ya. Not because they are hard to work. I am a night person, that part is easy! It’s coming off of them. Ten in the morning seems soooo early! I want more sleep! Oh well. Off to work again. Maybe I’ll really moblog something today. I mean. I owe a post. This one sucks. Heh.

Maybe my top secret guest blogger will post something fancy today! It is the holidays after all….
