April Fools’ is one of those days that I have a love-hate relationship with. I am sooo glad I am not at work today. A few years back at my other job the associates all slowly turned in resignations all day. The first 15 minutes of that was torture because it was so believable the way they did it. Then yeah, it was just funny. I think it was nice that they cared enough to ‘fool’ me, but really I hated it. My earliest memory of an April Fools’ joke was one my father pulled on my mom. She was at work. I think it was her first time back in the work-force since me and my brother had been birthed and junk. Anyway, my father called her in an absolute panic and told her the fish tank had fallen over. Hilarity ensued. My poor mother. She is still pissed aboot that.

There are only a few people I would prank. But only because they might expect it of me. But alas, my greatest pranks are not during april fools, but instead when friends of mine do things that are silly like getting drunk and passing out in front of me. Yes, silly friends, that deserves pranking.
