And So Um…

Today was highly uneventful. I don’t even know why I had to be there so early. There was not really a need. I did get to leave even earlier than expected, as I volunteered to come in on my day off tomorrow to cover the close. Another leader in the building won’t be coming in. It sucks to give up my day off, but it felt like a good time to ‘take one for the team’, and it was totally on my terms. Richard works tomorrow night anyway. What was I really doing?

Other than that I think I am finally de-toxing from Christmas. I feel a bit more calm. I feel a bit more hopeful. Kinda funny though, after what happened the other day…

wow. that’s just too weird! glad you weren’t there when it happened.
at least at my job, all we have to worry about are a few strange employees getting fired and blowing the place up! (i’m not entirely kidding!)

Hi, I am here via Betty - HOLY CRAP! Two years in a row? What are the odds?

My best friend was in a whole in the wall bar a couple weeks back when it was robbed at gunpoint. We try to look at it as a positive experience… they played the surveillance tape on the local news and 1/4 of her back and shoulder were shown in the video, so it was TOTALLY her 15 minutes of fame, which is a good thing.

I would suggest that if you remain in that type of job, that you make it a strict practice to always take the 26th off!!!
