The sirens seemed to go on for an unusual amount of time. I went out onto the porch to take a look. I swear it had to have been every fire truck in all of San Diego. I went in to get Richard, who was on the phone. He was at the window freaking out… “There must have been a HUGE accident on the freeway!” He said, a little shaken. “There’s no way.” I said. I explained how many trucks I had seen. It was then that I thought to Google">Google it. Mystery explained:
San Diego - Residents all over San Diego County should not be alarmed Saturday if they hear a cacophony of sirens roaring through their neighborhoods.
It’s time again for the annual Burn Run Parade where as many as 100 fire trucks will make their way to Qualcomm Stadium in Mission Valley with their lights, horns and sirens blaring for Fire Expo 2005.
