Another Holiday Whips On By

thanks!Another holiday post. Easter Sunday. Hmm. I remember those Easters as a child. The ones where someone decided to hide real eggs in the hot sun.  They were always bad by the time you found them, and had to be thrown away. Why did we even bother to look for them anyway?

One year I really wanted little chicks. We had hatched eggs in school and I really liked the little birds. Mom and dad found little foam and feather jobs somewhere. They were all up and through my basket! I had a fake chick in my pocket for months! So, Easter… what will Google tell me about you?

Well, you can get all the religious stuff at The Easter Page. Happy-Easter.com has some stuff for kids, including jokes. And we’ve all heard of the Easter Eggs in software and movies… here’s the Archive. Finally how about some Peeps? I mean a lot of Peeps (via Geisha asobi)!

HA! I almost posted that comic instead of the chocoloate bunny one, lol.  More interesting banter about Peeps.  yech!  Peeps are my least favorite candy - right up there with candy corn.

Okay Jesse, I’ll give ya Peeps. But I LOVE candy-corn. I often stock up on Halloween so I’ll have it for a while!
