TV in the summer is an absolute wasteland. You know how usually in the summer you can catch the episodes you missed in rerun? Maybe not so much anymore. Tonight I watched Law & Order: SUV (SVU? SYC? XYZ? MCI?) or whatever. It’s one of those. Anyway, I’ve seen it again and again. It’s the one with the deaf homeless gal who gets killed, a gang, and one of these twins that are a boy and a lesbian girl were there and supposedly raped, but then you find out they were both boys, one having had gender reassignment after a botched circumcision, not to mention they were molested too. The episode broaches sooo many controversial issues. And I have seen it four times. This summer. Each of the four times I have tuned in. Granted, one of those four times may have been back in it’s original airing, but at this point I am just confused and frustrated, and a bit angry about the emotional episode. Those poor twins went through everything. Where was I going with this?

Oh yeah. They should like run the re-runs in order so you can see a variety, catch the ones you missed, or whatever. You can’t just rely on the 5 most watched for 3 months. Really.

Been watching The Nick & Jessica Variety Hour. Her boobs are a little scary. Especially in the opening, and the Kenny Rogers number. They just don’t look right. Nick looks great though…

I was so excited to watch this movie on TV tonight. The Haunting, with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Owen Wilson... It looked so good! After about fifteen minutes I remembered that I had seen it. I hate when that happens!

After about thirty minutes I realized why I had forgotten. It’s just that kind of movie.

I use my computer a lot. It truly is a “digital hub”. It connects to the camera, the cell, and the iPod. I use it for this, my finances, bill paying, shopping, heck I even use it to record TV! Now I’ve discovered Phlink. My mac taking my calls. I think I like that!

I have had the luxury over this past year to work close enough to my apartment to eat lunch at home. It’s great! Really! I get to check email, feed the cats (there are two), watch TV, clean, and all sorts of things. The problem is that it takes me completely out of work mode. Take today for instance:

I get home and find that I have actual comments from people visiting this site! I got excited about that, so I forgot about eating (apparently I wasn’t hungry enough after five hours at work with no break) and started noticing a few things I had added to my blog that I wanted to change. Like my categories… more like was I drunk? So I ditched that, changed a button, realized I hadn’t eaten, shoved a leftover burrito down my throat, and I still wanted to post this entry. I’m sure this is not what I had originally wanted to say, but now I’m running late! See what happens!?! Gotta go!
