You have twenty minutes till you leave for work, and are basically ready to go. Do you:
a) empty the dishwasher
b) make the bed
c) pour some more coffee and sit down to blog
d) two of the above

Oh, probably just a, because it’s the quickest. I would do c, but I’m anal about blogging, and 20 minutes isn’t enough time to compose, spellcheck, re-read for grammar… Wouldn’t want to look like an idiot, after all! And besides, everything in my life takes more than 20 minutes to blog, because I’m just highly dramatic like that.
Since I don’t have a dishwasher or the heart to get the cat off the unmade bed, I would choose C.
I’m an overachiever - I’ll do all three, thanks to the mobility of my wonderful three-pounder laptop.
b and c, which i guess means d.
i loathe emptying the dishwasher, so it wouldn’t be in my morning routine.
definitely C. i do that frequently.
sometimes i can even fit making the bed in there somewhere too
wow, you had 20 minutes of free time before you left for work? around here, it’s get up, shower, kiss the girlfriend goodbye and out the door, all in about 20 minutes total. gee, i guess that’s why you’re the gay guy and i’m the dyke.
Well, the bed must be made up - that is a given. I just can’t get into an unmade bed at night. And the dishes must be taken out of the dishwasher - I mean, what if you are hit by a freight train on the way home from work and the authorities come into your place and see an unmade bed and dishes in the dishwasher - geeze… Blogging and coffee can always be done at work.
I gotta go with C. The other two are just too much work for morning.
Definitely sit and have another coffee. Not sure about blogging at this point. I would still be trying to wake up.
Ummm… I am in this position almost every workday.
I usually always end up doing “C” except I don’t drink coffee. LOL
But probably have a bowl of cereal or something.
I have a general rule - never make the bed unless company’s coming or you’ve put on clean sheets; otherwise, I figure “Why bother?”, i’m just going to jump back in it and untidy the sheets when I get the chance!
watch Buffy.
But if I have to go with your options and if we pretend I was lucky enough to have a dishwasher, I’d be emptying it.

As much as a) and b) need to be done, the only option is c).
We need a support group. Bloggers who blog too much!
Did I say “blog too much” ? Is that even possible?
