I have never heard of these… They are called Siamese Algae Eaters.  Haha. First the Siamese cat, now fish? Crazy, yet fitting. Hopefully they will help with the algae we have been plagued with since moving our tank to San Diego.

I vacuumed the tree mess, ejected all holiday from the house, dusted, wiped, scrubbed, and polished. I vacuumed the entire house three times and swfffered the wood floor countless more times. This place should be *spotless*.

I am still finding glitter. @#%$!!! I hate, hate, HATE glitter!! I am spotting tiny damn sparkles as I walk around the house. I try to pick it up every time I spy a piece. It’s driving me mad. I hate the glitter ornaments! I always swear that I won’t use them but every year I put them on the tree… Not to mention the awful glitter holiday cards. I had to open my mother’s card over the trash can there was so much glitter! And hers wasn’t the only one… (no offense to glitter card-senders but really? so much glitter?) There was so much glitter in this house, and I cleaned all through the month…

The war is on. I will now have to vacuum and swiffer every day.

So dude. I have had this Christmas tree up for nearly a month. Enough is enough! I announced over the weekend that tomorrow I am hauling it out and packing it away. That was greeted by Richard (my better half?) with a mild protest. He wants it up till after New Years. Ew. I mean, okay, people all have traditions. My mother and I have been known to take it down Christmas Day. Come on, *after presents* of course! We’d even wait till after lunch, then out it went! So for me the thing is well outlived its welcome. So my question is: When is the appropriate time to de-Christmasify your home?

I have actually met him (Fred is a friend of his) and he is just as beautiful in reality. He is also a very nice guy, which I imagine is kinda rare in “gay-celeb” land.. So Happy Birthday Reichen!
